Cyxtera Technologies is bringing additional capacity to the market with a new data center in Santa Clara. The total building size is expected to finish out at 121,000 SF, but only a portion of that will be used as critical space for servers. Infrastructure redundancies are expected to come in at N/N+1/2N for generators, N+1 for cooling, and N/N+1/2N for UPS. Carriers in close proximity to the data center include Consolidated Communications, CenturyLink and Telia Sonera.
