Coriander Avenue

London,

United Kingdom

Global telecommunications company BT has roots dating back to the beginning of the telecommunications industry. By 1912, the General Post Office had a monopoly on telephone services and in 1969, ceased to be a government department and was reestablished as a public entity. By 1982, the GPO Telecommunications services had been renamed British Telecom and then transitioned into the process of becoming privatized. As telecommunications became a more open market, British Telecom re-branded as BT and began to focus on specialized sectors and providing personalized solutions that are easy to use. BT offers colocation and public, private, and hybrid cloud.
