Catawba County Economic Development Corporation (EDC)

In efforts to increase economic development and build a diversified economic base in their county, Catawba EDC has plans to attract new business and industry by making land available to interested companies. Hoping to further growth of the North Carolina Data Center Corridor, which is comprised of companies such as Apple, AT&T, Disney, and Bed Bath & Beyond, Catawba county has created their ncDataCampus in Conover and zoned various parcels of land in Maiden, Newton, and Catawba specifically to attract data center projects.
