Founded in 1994, Crown Castle Fiber is a fiber provider with an estimate of 70,000 miles of fiber and 32,000 on-net buildings in the United States. In 4Q 2017, the company completed an acquisition of Lightower Fiber Networks -- gaining 32,000 route miles of fiber and over ten data centers in the Mid-Western and North-Eastern regions of the United States. The data centers provide access to high-bandwidth connectivity, redundant power and cooling, and power-ready racks, cabinets, and bulk space. Crown Castle offers services to customers in a wide range of industries, including: healthcare, financial services, education, government, media, and entertainment.
