Data Shelter

Founded in 2016, Data Shelter is an IT solutions provider that focuses on providing colocation and disaster recovery services to customers in the Southeast United States. With one facility slated to open 3Q 2018, Data Shelter is currently retrofitting an AT&T-built Cold War era nuclear bomb shelter to serve as a data storage facility. Dubbed “The Bunker,” the facility was part of the AUTOVON network (a worldwide American military telephone system designed in case of all-out war) and boasts unique and specialized security measures. The Bunker is Tier IV Design certified, possesses FEMA P320 Safe Room Standards with CBRN Emergency Air Filtration, and is located on a nine-foot-thick blast slab. Data Shelter is headquartered in Fort Pierce, Florida.
