Internet Initiative Japan (IIJ) is a telecom and internet service provider headquartered in Tokyo. Founded in 1992, Internet Initiative Japan was instrumental in developing Japan's internet infrastructure as its first internet service provider. Since its founding, IIJ has expanded into multiple international markets and provides its services across the Americas, Europe, and mainland Asia. IIJ also offers data center and colocation solutions through its 21 data centers worldwide. The company's largest presence is in Tokyo, where it operates nine facilities. It also operates three facilities in Osaka.
