Research Triangle Park

Research Triangle Park is the largest research park in the country. The non-profit group covers 7,000 acres and includes upwards of 200 companies. When RTP was established in 1959, its founders saw an opportunity to revive post-war North Carolina with a concentration of collaborative minds, businesses, and universities. While the park already has providers like Compass Data Centers, TierPoint, IBM, and Lenovo, it also has ample land for those looking to expand their data center footprint in or into the market. The Research Triangle Park is headquartered in Durham, North Carolina but the park spans multiple cities.
